Personal Development Talks
My talks are more like mini-workshops. Their 90 minute format is interactive, designed to promote creativity, ideas and passion, and sets in motion a process that encourages new perspectives, interpretations and insights that facilitate change.
Each topic is explored within a small group and we each come away with our convictions overturned, revised or re-affirmed. For fuller day-long sessions, please see my click here to go to my workshops page page.
Past participants have commented on the value of being in a safe environment where they felt able to air their true thoughts and feelings, knowing that they were supported and truly heard.
A new series of talks will soon be announced. Please click here to email me an instant message if you are interested in any (or all) of the topics.
Let's Talk About - Expressing Strength
Some of us were brought up to believe that 'strong' means being someone who - like a hero - can 'handle it' (whatever 'it' is), and that revealing our vulnerability or our limitations is a sign of weakness. In this 90 minute talk / mini-workshop we'll explore and try to redefine what 'being strong' really is.

Let's Talk About - What Does Success Mean to You?
Even inside our own value systems and despite all that we've learned from other cultures and history, 'success' is still often believed to mean 'more, bigger, better'. But if that's what we mean by success, then why do so many feel empty and unhappy? This talk and discussion aims to explore and redefine (or not) this powerful word.

Let's Talk About - What Does It Mean To Be Truthful?
People tend to believe that truth is something you tell someone no matter what. Others believe that it's better to tell lies in order not to hurt someone's feelings. Whatever your position, there's actually one essential issue to confront: that of self-deception. In our 90 minute talk / mini-workshop we'll explore this thorny question.

Let's Talk About - Understanding Love
How do we know if our way of expressing love is actually interpreted as intended? Most people learn to express love from their parents but is their way right for us and our partner? In this session we will try to expand and deepen our understanding and experience of love.

Let's Talk About - How Real is Your Reality?
Most people believe that reality is reality, full stop. Yet why is it that some people experience the same event (reality) in different ways? Why is it that some people who have had painful experiences (their reality) go on to create a loving and fulfilled life themselves while others remain stuck in the past? In this 90-minute session / mini-workshop we will explore why we believe we live "in the real world" and what it takes to change that perception.

Let's Talk About - Living Powerfully
People have begun to realise that self-empowerment runs much more deeply and broadly than theories of assertiveness and self-confidence. But, while they do understand this, they continue to struggle with what precisely this looks like in their day-to-day life. In this session / mini-workshop we will discover together how to make this new understanding work for us in a practical way.
